Too bulky Sep 14, 2005
By C. L. Ginzburg While the dimensions of this product were certainly given in the description and I take some responsibility for not getting my tape measure out, the picture gave me the impression that the case was more compact than it turned out to be. The fact that it is a "universal" carrying case means that it is much larger than needed to accomodate the sewing machine I bought. This is because it is intended to also accomodate a serger, which is a larger machine. Space considerations were a factor in my decision to purchase a new machine and the unwieldy size of the new case made it unacceptable to me. If space is not a problem, this case would be OK.

yuck Aug 24, 2005
By Linda Garcia This case is ugly and very cheap looking. It is also way too big for my standard sewing machine. My machine knocks around inside of it, defeating the purpose of a protective case. I did not want to give this item even one star, but the system just works that way.

A Larger Multi-Purpose Case Jan 15, 2007
By So.Cal. Sewist --

I have 4 of these cases. I like them because they are indeed larger and have extra 'nooks' for putting the extra accessories, foot pedal, manuals, extra books, material and sometimes a small sewing kit for when I take it to class.
The size is OK for my smaller White 2000 serger and lots of sewing accessories and material; also good for my Elna 744 serger (larger machine) with pedal and extra feet and manuals. If all you want is something just your machine's size, then better get the smaller Singer sewing case. Do some measuring to be sure. This case is for stand alone machine heads and not the type that needs to be attached with the 2 hinge pegs (for flatbed). I'm very happy with these cases for the above reasons.

Way Too Big! Sep 13, 2005
By A. Newman The picture of the item is deceiving as its taken from the side, so you can't see how enormous it really is. It takes up too much storage space too. I recommend seeing if the Singer case might fit better.

Great case; it fits everything Mar 02, 2006
By Erin Hoare This case is really good, it fits my 1034D Brothe serger very nicely. The only thing I wish it has, is a compartment below the sewing machine, like with a little trap door or something. but other than that, its great, and it does its job well
